- I believe in decentralisation. Today I jumped over the coffee machine and it's no longer working. Now people are no longer dependent on one single machine. They may be running around to different shops, ordering on Zomato or Swiggy, some have even left office for the day, but I am 100% sure that decentralisation is the way to go.
- Today I cut off the power supply for the office. I did not like the fact that everyone depends on a single source for electricity. It gives too much power (literally) in the hands of one company. Power should be decentralised, and I have taken one step towards it today.
- Today I had to interview three candidates for the post of Assistant Decentralisation officer. One candidate praised my company and said that I was going to be the only player in the market to succeed. I immediately rejected him. Another candidate had strong beliefs in decentralisation, but disagreed with me. I rejected him. The third candidate also disagreed with me, but also added in his long monologue that if I didn't select him, it would be against decentralisation because I would have all the power. Hence, I have decided to not just hire him, but also promote him to CDO. We can have 2 chiefs so power is not consolidated.
- I believe open offices are a severe violation of the privacy of each worker. It allows people to see into each others screen, makes it impossible for me to use Linkedin to find another job. It is extremely distracting for the team to watch me follow a laser light or licking my paws.
- Public speaking is a skill ? That's what people who cannot communicate say. Most of my community has been able to co-operate and survive. Have you ever seen a cat meow at another cat? You will never. (cat at a podium)
- I am being told I have to pay income taxes on a website that is not working. What happened to the good old fashioned way of paying taxes with dead rats and deadmau5
- Stereotypes can seriously hurt feelings of others. People assume that I must be close to bats just because we rhyme and that batman was close to catwoman. I assure you I have nothing to do with bats, I hate them because they are deep into corona virus. (serious thoughtful pose by cat)
- Public ledgers and blockchain have evolved over the ages. The first time I saw a public ledger, I was visiting a friend of mine in a gated society. The security guard made me sign a register with my full details. I realised that the details of all guests were in the register. infact, none of them were verified also. Hence, it could be completely anonymous at the same time. Like I signed the address as catistan and my name as Priyanka Chopra. (Jungli Billi)
